MINE THAT BIRD Takes the second post spot in the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico.

“We’ve got speed on both sides of us, speed on the inside and outside of us. That should clear away from us and leave us in a nice spot to coast down the front side and into the backstretch. It’s a good spot,” stated Chip Woolley, trainer of Mine That Bird.

The horse remains a 6 to 1 shot, far behind the heavily favored filly Alexandra Rachel, in the very tough # 13 post position, and second most-heavily bet Pioneer of the Nile, in the 9th position for the running of the Preakness Stakes.
